Chairwoman: Cbank unlikely to cut key rate at next meetings

MOSCOW, Sep 1 (PRIME) -- The central bank is unlikely to cut the key rate at the next few meetings, Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina said on Friday.

"A decrease of the rate is improbable at the next few meetings," she said. "We will be able to cut the rate only when we see a stable decline of the price growth pace.”

The authority does not rule out keeping or raising the rate, Nabiullina said.
